Findo Gask, just off the A9 and 9 miles west of Perth, is our immediate area and perfect for walking, jogging, cycling, fishing and shooting (for fishing and shooting please contact us directly and we can advise of local River Earn access as well as various Grouse and Pheasant shoots, depending on time of year). Investigate the history of the Romans and walk some of the Gask Ridge where one of the better preserved Watch Tower locations can be found just through our woods.

Dunning is our local and nearest village, 5 miles down the 'brae' where you will find a small but well stocked shop as well as our 2 local hostileries, The Kirkstyle Inn and The Dunning Hotel ,both provide great food and ales. The local golf course borders the village and takes you on a breathtaking tour of the local scenery as well as 2 clay tennis courts that non members are welcome to use. Afterwards, nip into our tasty Tee Room for delicious homemade refreshments.

Auchterarder, otherwise known as The Lang Toon is 7 miles west and is host to a full range of services from supermarket to boutique shopping, banks and cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course just down the road from the famous Gleneagles Hotel. Our nearest train station is at Gleneagles, just off the A9, which can take you quickly and easily to Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh or further afield.

Perth is 9 miles away, down the A9 straight into the town centre and sitting on the River Tay gives access to everything you could need for a wee trip out either in the town centre itself or take a trip to the outskirts to visit such places as Scone Palace, Perth Racecourse or for those in need of some faster action, Knockhill Racing Circuit 20 miles away.

Crieff, 12 miles, is a lovely car journey and particularly pleasant cycle ride away where again you will find a plethora of fabulous shops, cafes, restaurants as well as local park and outdoor activities. You are now bordering the edge of our stunning Highland Perthshire and access to all the beautiful towns and villages that will take you past stunning loch and mountain views.

Head North up the A9 and enter the 'Gateway to the Highlands' via Dunkeld, Birnam, Pitlochry and Blair Atholl. Surrounded by the breathtaking scenry of the Cairngorms National Park you will be hard pressed not to want to keep stopping and taking pictures.

Head West to Glasgow, or South to our Capital city Edinburgh, both 50 miles and less than an hour away, for some serious shopping, cocktail bars in cities oozing with history, character, architecture and theatre.

Whilst our location is central to everywhere we are very lucky to be tucked away in our own little bit of rural heaven where you may wish, on some occasions, to head out for a night on the town and partake in a drink or two or maybe a more indulgent trip to one of our cities where you can have your shopping periodically picked up for you!
